She chairs the Liverpool and Sefton Chamber of Commerce Business Policy Committee and sits as vice chair on the Liverpool Branch of the Institute of Directors as well as being a member of the PBS board of the LEP.
Alison is regularly asked to comment and speak as a female leader, with a well earned reputation for helping women progress in their careers.

Her own journey of growth and success in law has been regularly noted by those who want to inspire others.
Alison has several awards under her belt, including Woman Solicitor of the Year in the coveted National Law Society Awards.

On International Women’s Day 2021 she says: “Choose to Challenge might be the most poignant IWD theme to date. Women have spent far too long facing too many challenges, it’s not time to ensure we are bringing the challenge to the table.

“I urge women and girls to stand up for what is right, be fearless in your speech and use it for good. These are the women I am seeing come through in my business, and these are the women who will sit at the table long after I am gone.

“Someone once said: “Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.’

“Let’s make 2021 our most meaningful year yet.”
