Hugh Baird College is thrilled to announce that several of its students have been selected for a prestigious career kick-starting scholarship with Denholm Logistics Group.
This year, the programme saw an impressive number of applicants, with 44 students expressing their interest in advancing their careers through scholarship opportunities in IT, Health and Safety, and Logistics.
Denholm Logistics Group, headquartered in Liverpool, operates logistics services across the globe to small independent companies and large blue-chip organisations, providing a range of services to meet a diverse range of business needs. Comprising a number of specialist operating companies in the logistics and maritime sectors, Denholm Logistics Group brings together dedicated expertise to answer the most complex and demanding logistics and supply chain requirements for their clients.
Initially, five scholarships were on offer with Denholm; however, due to the exceptional quality of applicants, the company generously extended this to six places. Hugh Baird College proudly congratulates the following students and their industry mentors:
• Liam Wadsworth, mentored by Paul Knowles.
• Katie Draper, mentored by Mark Critchley.
• Heather Cosgrove, mentored by Steve Drury.
• Dominic Parr, mentored by Andy Vaughton.
