ArchiPhonic welcomes a new architectural technician

Liverpool-based architectural design practice, ArchiPhonic, has appointed a new Architectural Technician, Ryan Joinson.

Ryan, who will be supporting the team across all projects, completed his BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology at LJMU and specialises in commercial projects. His first ever project, while still undertaking his degree, was the third stage of the award-winning refurbishment of Liverpool’s Hope Street Hotel, which comprised a new build and a conversion in a listed building.

Speaking of his appointment, Ryan said:

“ArchiPhonic is in an exciting period of growth, so it’s brilliant to be joining the company at this time. I’m looking forward to sharing my skills but also learning from the team around me.”

ArchiPhonic’s team has doubled in size from six to 12 full-time staff in just 18 months. In January, it announced five new appointments and it is currently recruiting for an architectural technologist.

ArchiPhonic co-director, Adam Mokhtar, said:

“Ryan’s technical ability and attention to detail has been honed on high-profile and complex commercial projects. His experience will be invaluable to our growing team and client base, as we expand in this area. We’re happy to have him on board.”
