North West Training Council (NWTC) and Hugh Baird College are partnering to offer free* welding courses to adults in the Liverpool City Region. These courses will be taught at NWTC’s state-of-the-art engineering centre in Vauxhall and will last for up to 10 weeks, providing individuals with a comprehensive introduction to the world of welding.
The three Level 1 introductory welding courses are open to all adults aged 19 or over in the Liverpool City Region and include Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding skills. They’re suitable for those who are interested in gaining skills that could boost their career or simply add to their skill set.
The courses are also available to employers who are interested in upskilling their employees in welding. The programs have been designed to be accessible and flexible, with day-release options available.
